Unification RituaL

An Overlapping of Magic

This is the piece that will connect us and amplify the power of our synchronized circles and events around the globe on October 27th!

We ask that all of our leaders incorporate this Unification Ritual into their circles and events. This way, we take all of this goodness, connection, and power that we have created, and pass it back to Mother Earth!

Please watch the video and read the instructions to understand what we are asking of you.

Send any questions about this ritual to hello@globalturnon.com.

The Unification Ritual we are using this year comes from the Apache Tlish Diyan lineage shared with us by Apache Diyin (Holy One), Maria Yraceburu. We will be doing the Pulling Heart Drum ritual followed by the Chajala Naaisha Ashne Ate chant, where we chant as a group to heal Changing Mother Earth.

At the focal point of our Unification Ritual is a 5th World Grid Map from which we spiral outward. You can find the map we are using here: small poster, large poster. You are also welcome to use your own or use a globe.

The chant is done to send the energy of what we have received in our healing, in this passing of power, back into our Mother, the Earth!

INSTRUCTIONS:

This will take about 15 minutes in total - 5 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to execute. Facilitators take some time to understand what we are doing and ask questions if you need to - email hello@globalturnon.com.

You will need:

  1. Drums and Drummers

    4 (for large groups)
    1-2 (for smaller groups)

  2. Map of the world in the center
(use our 5th World Grid Map or use a globe, something that depicts the world).

Set Up:

  • Set up participants in a spiral formation with one person in the middle.

  • The person who is in the middle has their RIGHT hand on the map and LEFT hand on the earth.

  • As participants spiral outward from the center (referred to as Lotus Blossom Circle in the video), have them place their RIGHT hand on the back of the person in front of them, and the LEFT hand on the earth.

  • Drummers are on the outside of the spiral formation in the cardinal directions (south, west, north, east).

pulling heart Drum:

You will need to have at least 1 drum present for this part. If you have a larger group, you will want more drummers, up to 4 (representing the cardinal directions). Watch the video provided for instructions on the Butterfly Drumming and transition into the chant!

Chant:

The Chajala Naaisha/Ashne Ate chant is done simultaneously by participants and completed 24 times (see video for details).

  • The INNER half of participants chant Ashne Ate (healing complete). This is to be said softly, almost in a whisper.

  • The OUTER half of participants chant Chajala Naaisha (we are love always). This is done forcefully, in a powerful manner.

*Instructions based on group size.

1 Person / Guardian

  • Sit and place hands on earth, breathe and connect.

  • Follow this with Butterfly Drumming.

  • Then placing your RIGHT hand onto the World Map and LEFT hand onto the earth - thank Mother for who she is in our lives and chant: Chajala Naaisha 24 times, followed by Ashne Ate 24 times.

2 - 4 People

  • Split the group in half, so that there can be 2 groups simultaneously chanting: one half will chant Chajala Naaisha and the second half will chant Ashne Ate

  • Have everyone place their RIGHT hand on the World Map in the center and LEFT hand on the earth. Take a breathe together and thank Mother for who she is in our lives.

  • Butterfly Drumming (as shown in the video).

  • Followed by Chajala Naaisha/Ashne Ate chant - to be completed 24 times.

+5 People

  • Split the group in half, so that there can be 2 groups simultaneously chanting: OUTER half will chant Chajala Naaisha and the INNER half will chant Ashne Ate

  • Have everyone form a spiral outward from the center World Map. Have them place their RIGHT hand on the back of the person in front of them and their LEFT hand on the earth. Take a breathe together and thank Mother for who she is in our lives.

  • Butterfly Drumming (as shown in the video).

  • Followed by Chajala Naaisha/Ashne Ate chant - to be completed 24 times.

Remember, our energy for passing power is extended to the Earth, her children, and all life as it flows, and in doing so, it is returned to us 13^20.
